Former pop star Aaron Carter and retired NBA star Lamar Odom are set to face off in a three-round Celebrity Boxing Match scheduled for June 12 at the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City.

And on Saturday the fighters went face-to-face in a promotional press conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The animated event comes just three days after Carter posted three sonograms of his pregnancy with fiancee Melanie Martin on social media.

The former LA Laker, 41, looked fit and ready in a dark blue tracksuit and sneakers when he and his opponent dropped into the signature boxing pose with their fists in the air.

Celebrity Boxing Founder Damon Feldman stood in-between the two for a series of promo photos.

Carter, 33, went with a more trendy streetwise ensemble in distresses blue jeans, a black and white jacket over a gold, white and black-patterned shirt and sneakers.

On several occasions, Feldman had to play peacemaker when the two amateurs began to taunt one another.

In this corner: For the most part, the two fighters exchanged friendly banter and big smiles

In a move to muster up the energy level, Odom and Carter stared each other down when they stood forward for more photos.

At 6ft10in, Odom is nine inches taller, but eight years older, than the former child star, who has claimed to have been training hard in the gym with trainer Xavier 'Bad Pads' Biggs.

'It's gonna be a war, man,' Feldman told TMZ in the lead up to Saturday's presser.

Both men have reportedly been 'busting their a**es in the gym' over the past few months and 'taking the fight very seriously.'

Odom signed on for the match on January 20, while Carter inked his contract on November 29 with the hope of facing off against pop superstar Justin Bieber.

The two combatants have both faced drug addictions in their pasts, which were treated at rehabs in 2011/2017 and 2015, respectively.

Earlier this week, the Aaron's Party (Come Get It) singer updated his Instagram fans and followers by sharing three sonogram photos.

'We're pregnant so blessed to have such an amazing woman Mommy and daddy to Be @missmelaniemartin @aaroncarter. 'Let's do this baby,' he wrote in the caption of a short video he posted on April 7.
