I'd say I'll have to be absent
for keanu and his "outrageous accent"
But Billy Jack, I just don't feel
was worth the price of film and reel.

Ewallace, don't it make you sick?
Just keep in mind, its just day six.:(

how long is this mayhem supposed to last again?

KC Elbows

fourteen days of rhyme
of crying "Oh God! Why?!!"
unless within this cursed time
I should just up and die.

Two weeks.
I'm not on the computer on the weekend so I believe KC should give me an extra 4 days as well.:p

If you've not got the time to view
the weekend forum festivities
You should up and quit kung fu
and get straight your priorities.:D

Enough of all this godd*mned rhyme,
Don't you see that I barely have time
To make it through all the crap posts on this forum,
Without trying to decipher KC Elbow's new decorum?

But anyways, back to the subject at hand--
Keanue Reeves as Billy Jack being planned?
An a$$-kicking ex-Green Beret tough-as-nails half-breed?
I think Keanu's been smoking just a bit too much weed

His surfer accent just can't be dropped,
regardless if his movies were hits or they flopped.
In "Bram Stoker's Dracula" I kept waiting for him to go:
"Dude, you're like a vampire...........whoa!"

I thought vanilla ice was dead. Apparently not, and he's been cloned...

And I thought Keanu Reeves doing kung fu was the sign of the Apocalypse....

Was "Billy Jack" that big of a movie back then?? I though it was a small low budget movie of intrest only to the Karate guys of the time.

He did hapkido, second he was an indian guy at a time when it was still illegal for indians to practice their native religions. yep right up into the seventies.

I'm gonna take this foot and I'm gonna whomp you on that side of your head and you wanna know what? Theres not a darn thing you can do about it.

keanu would ruin the reputation of billy jack because keanu has a natural stupid look about him.

Keanu Reeves? Bwahahahahahahahahahaha!

Now he wants to muscle in to the MA action film market?

What is he going to do next? Change his name to Keanu Lee?

I think this whole "I know Kung fu" thing has gone straight to his head. He didn't even look that good in the matrix. He's just luckey he got to ride the movie's coattales.

This is all well and good, but what about Ben Aflickted as Jack Ryan ? The very thought makes my head want to explode. Or just take a very long nap and wake up a zombie.

I'm not KC, but my opinion of Keanu Reeves is pretty consistent. As long as he stays inside his comfortable range of playing drug-addled retards, he's not bad. The Bill and Ted movies were definitely his finest moments. If you stick to my interpretation of the Matrix - dumb ass loser takes drugs of unknown origin from complete stranger he met on the internet and trips his balls off - that one's not too bad either. If you interpret the Matrix with Keanu as techno-Jebus, it's pretty lame.

Puts me at a real disadvantage during push hands practice, Ahtellyewhut.

It also explains why I have such an affinity for Cotton Hill.

No, but I have a cameo in "Flippers of Fury"

This is Keanu's time to shine.

Chang Style Novice

Good point, BigCountry.

back on topic:

I'd kick Keanu Reeve's heinie with my flippers of fury!

(my role in "Flippers of Fury" is very small, btw. I'm the guy in the background staring jealously at a pair of nunchaka. Not the guy with the nunchaka, just the nunchaka. They think they're so great the way they bend in the middle!)

What opponent do you fear most as a thalidomide boxer? And would you fight Keanu Reeves?

Chang Style Novice

1 - Octopus boxers.

2 - Sure, but I really wouldn't call it a fight...
