Hi! I had been taking 7* mantis and ended up switching schools to a completely different style recently due to reasons I won't go into right now. The forms and techniques I am learning now lack the economy and martial logic of Mantis forms. I really want to learn/practice Mantis even though classes aren't available to me right now.

So here's my question:

Do any of you know of any GOOD outside sources for learning forms - Books, videos, etc. ?

Thanks a whole bunch!

This point is perhaps talked about since the beginning of time.
But I believe no beginner could learn any martial arts just from books or videos. It is better to have at least a certain amount of skill in your yard and using videos and books are a supplimentary.

I couldn't agree with you more.

But I would still like to hear if anyone has bought any videos or books that they thought were worthwhile.
