How is CLF kum-la different from other styles kum-la? Like what principles does it employ that are perhaps unique to CLF? I donft find too much in the forms, but are there any sets of kum-la that was extracted from the forms?

In my very brief experience, chin na is chin na, regardless of style. There are only a finite amount of ways to lock up joints on the human body, so I don't think there are any locks that are special to Choy Lay Fut.
As far as forms go, I only know a few, and all of them are very much set on striking and/or clearing for a good position to strike.
