A big arguement amongst people is the difference between the 3 internal arts and shaolin arts. The arguement givin by internal guys is shaolin styles aren't internal because they don't share the same mechanics as bagua hsing yi or Tai chi. I was wondering what do ou guys consider the internal aspects of Shaolin style kungfu

i think it depends alot on your definition of 'internal'
for me it's several things, mindset, structural alignment, not just power generation
so indeed by this definition you could in theory have any martial art being internal or at least having internal aspects, including TKD, etc...

that's my opinion.
