I was browsing thru a KF rag the o'day and saw a Leung Ting ad where he's got his hands up in a kinda chain punch pose. I noticed that he has the pinkies of his fists loose, almost open.
This is very common in wing chun but I haven't seen it so much elsewhere. I've seen my sifu do it on occasion, I went thru a period of doing it, some of my kungfu family do this. I think most wc luminaries I've seen pics of have this flying pinky thing goin on at some point.
What is the deal? :eek: We know we're supposed to hit with that end of our fist, so why do so many of us lock up the top and let the last bit rattle around? :rolleyes:
