I got my Book by Leung Ting Roots and Branches of WingTsun

This book shows alot of different types of Wing Chun and history and forms and different lineages and things i never even herd of a very good book.

What gets me is why he writes so many books on other styles. I was at a MA store today and found books by him on Drunken Monkey, regular Drunken, 7* Mantis, and others. I thought he was Wing Tsun only? :confused: That's like Royce Gracie writing a book on Shaolin or Yip Man writing one on Capoeira.

Yip Man wrote on Capoeira!! I had only heard rumor and a few bits of video footage of a man who looked like Yip Man practicing Capoeira, but never thought it to be true!! The only books of Yip Man's I have read are: "the way of karate" "excellent board breaking skills" "Taekwondo for beginners" and "Judo, the way of the hold". Amazing, I will never see the end of this mans talents.

In terms of the pictures, the book is a true treasure. In terms of the writing, it's unfortunately very political and often self-contradictory.
