"I agree to never abuse the principles of LLAP-GOCH * or consult a lawyer." This must sound familiar to a couple of y'all.

*however you say it - I have no idea, Shark.

chang style novice,

no worries. i'm actually english myself. the name is welsh, so presumably somewhere along the line... very kind of you to think of me though. :)

JWT,

your grandmother's name is norman? (surname, obviously. i'm trusting that's not her first name.) :)

i've actually started an offshoot of this style called 'lapp dogg.' it mostly consists of flinging highly trained poodles at your opponent. it's a bit expense to learn because... well, highly trained poodles ain't free.

Crap. No, it was originally ApOweyn. She changed it to Owens when she moved to America.

JWT,

ah. that'd be my father's name then. ap Oweyn = of Owen. Your grandmother adopted 'Owens', logically enough. my family retained the 'ap', but over the years, it was shortened/softened to 'b.' Bowen.

that's me.

Righto old boy!

Actually, I've got to quit making fun of our limey friends. They've given us allot of help in the international theater in our war on terrorism. They've been invaluable in public relations, training, intellegence, and manpower. My big ol cowboy hats off to em.

The LL in welsh is pronounced "Ch" as in Llan would be prounced almost chlan, with a hard "c" as in clock, not a soft "c" as in cheese.
Just thought i'd help out.

Hey red5angel. I was wondering where Welshire is!:p :D

Yep JWT. the UK has supported the US alot regarding the terrorism thing recently.
Just a shame that Bush has decided to put this 30% import duty on steel. Nice way of saying thanks don't you think! By helping to destroy the british steel industry.

I wonder if Bush will get as much support when he goes into Iraq!

Colin........

Absolutely agreed. Plus you guys drink real beer over there and any self-respecting beer drinker has to appreciate that. Most gents have a wicked sense of humor too. Something many over here could learn a thing or two about.

Colin

I'm not sure!
I suppose welshire could be a rather naughty way of saying that Wales is nothing more than a shire county of England, and no longer a true country in it's own right.

Now I would never say anything like that, as it wuold seriously pi55 off our welsh brothers.
Plus being Scots i'd hate to think anyone felt the same about Scotland.

You bad man red5angel!
