This system says they come from the Nun "Ng Mui" and WT/WC/VC claims to come from her also,there are some "higher ups" in the WT system who are under the theory that WT/WC/VT is a result of the "Redboat people" developing a system from the Hakka styles to combat the Manchurians who had learned Shaolin,this seems to make since given what my oberservations left me with the impressions that the Wu Mei system is very close to the Bai Mei/Bak Mei style as far as power generation ie. floating,sinking,swallowing,spiting ect.The WT/WC I have seen and studied looked nothing like the "Wu Mei" system.Alot of Wing Chun schools use the 5 plum blossum symble(Wu Mei) so its nice to have a direct link to the temple,maybe it should be a redboat symble???
