Hi All,

I am happy to announce that on July 20th, I will be conducting a Combative Solutions Street Self-Defense Workshop in Staten Island, New York.

This Workshop will teach you how to deal with the reality of an actual violent assault. You will not only learn the physical side of fighting and self defense techniques; most importantly, you are instructed in the psychological aspects of self-defense as well. The psychological aspect is missing in most martial arts schools today. Mental/physical integrated training, will develop you to the best of your ability to overcome a violent situation, and protect yourself and those you love.

The emphasis of the seminar will be on dealing with multiple opponents as well as instruction in the various uses of weaponry such as knives, sticks and other improvised tools.

All skill levels are welcome and Workshop Attendance certificates will be issued.

Please contact BIG Sean Madigan via e-mail at: Straightlead@Yahoo.com or by phone at: 718-967-4144.

Hope to see you there!

BIG Sean Madigan

BIG Sean,

I thought that if you went to other parts of NY you could get more definitely applicable Combatitive Solutions Street Defence in practice!;)

This was kind of a gag, but born of a nagging curiosity about everything... in the foreign press we get a lot of blurb about Rudy's reforms... have they really been THAT effective in cutting crime... Anyone from or with exp of NY care to comment?

Apologies Sean, for hijacking the thread, I would probably look in if I didn't live on the other side of the Pacific, and at least this will get the ad for your event ttt!!!:D

Hi,

It is true that there are some areas in the city that have under gone great positive change...but there are still many 'tough' areas that are still to be found.

Up until about 3 months ago I lived in Brooklyn, NY. Wow are there still tough areas there! LOL :D
