The Fourth Annual Chinese Lance Workshop and Tournament
Sat. June 1st, 2002
Taipei Economic and Culture Centre,
888 Progress Ave., Toronto, Ontario Canada
This year's Chinese Lance Workshop and Tournament will be held in Toronto, Canada and promises to one of the most exciting and fun filled events ever. We are expecting a record number of participants and a very high level of lance techniques and strategies.
The event is opened to everyone from the absolute novice to most advanced practitioner. There will be beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
Lance techniques transcends all styles so it doesn't matter if you're from Wing Chun, Choy Li Fut, Mantis or the Shaolin Cowabunga style as long as you keep an open mind and are willing to explore, learn, have fun and make new friends. There are no real winners or losers in this event so please leave all egos at the door.
Toronto
The city of Toronto is one of the most fascinating and multicultural cities in the world. There are tons of activities that will cater to every age group and taste so feel free to bring your family and friends.

This is an excellent opportunity for all beginners to learn how the lance is used and a great review for intermediate and advanced practitioners who are a bit rusty. The afternoon will be the tournament itself.
Bonus
As an added bonus, the famous Master Hu Xi-lin (originally from Shantung China) has been invited to give a Friday evening workshop in Qin-Na (locking techniques) and Shuai-Jiao (Chinese Wrestling) on Sunday morning.
Note*
· All the workshops during the weekend are absolutely FREE for all lance participants.
