Best to relieve your self first - the intense humour of the site can induce fits of laughter.

It's hard to talk with your mouth full, if you know what I mean.

Look for a guy on the forums call Danny Sainty - he is one of Ashida's students.

Otherwise Ashida occasionally makes an appearance in the chat room :D

Sorry Danny, my misunderstanding.

How are things BTW?

Cool, good idea. Let's see what that stirs up :) I can already guess though.

I'll try to come up with something cool. I think most people here don't like me tho.

I had a rather brutal conversation with a CMQ supporter on another forum. We were picking on the chung moo quan guys fro not sparring and saying they could fight, and this guy, supposedly not CMQ, but constantly supporting them, who said the ancient masters went up to the mountains and became great fighters that way, and didn't fight, and when they did, they were already great masters, so the experience had nothing to do with their skill.

I told him that Paul Bunyan was said to have a big blue ox named Babe, and that I'd believe in his masters who never fought if he'd believe in my giant blue ox.

you mentioned that you were not a direct student of ashida kim. did you begin your training in his style? or did you train with somebody else and then become affiliated with him later?. if i may ask, who did you train under originally?
