If there from the Quanico team they have a pretty tough sombo team. Most are probably sport sombo players so i don't know how they are without the kurka. What part of VA is it in? I would love to come down and pull for you guys but my girlfriend has the last word since she is letting me go watch GQ in April. :) Also i'm taking the whole next year and training nothin but for grapplers quest. Lucky for me Eric will be back in June and that gives me Lloyd and him to both start training with. Good luck man and if all else fails for god sake keep your hands up ;)

True very true. Want an example Mark Densberger 7- time national sombo champion has one of the worst guards i have ever seen and so does his b*tch boy Bryan. I guess being on two olympic teams for wrestling helped him out. Matter of fact i have an awesome grappling match on tape of no other than Lloyd Irvin and Mark Densberger rolling @ Lloyd's school.

My vote is you win by some type of mounted submission.
