After seven to eight months of no kungfu classes due to poverty or work committments, I have found a job that is lucrative enough to support me and doesn't cause problems with going to Shifu Hwang's classes. Since I received both my first paycheck and irs refund on Saturday (and had prior committements this Monday and Tuesday) today was my return to the kwoon after way, WAY too long.
I'm tired, and sore, and sweaty, and bruised, and I love it, and I can't believe how much I enjoyed it and how much I'm looking forward to more.
The hung ga guy seems pretty cool. He says that his teacher mixed dog boxing with the hung ga - I better look into that one of these times.
