i beleive arms at shoulder height and/or middle arm at belly button. im fairly tall so the wooden dummy is kinda awkward for me, but when will an oppenant adjust to fit your height?

From the swell guy at the Great Lion Company (Woodendummy.net (http://www.woodendummy.net))

"I will say that there are some prerequisites for using the dummy correctly for beginners. The two upper arms should bump you in the chest about 1-2 inches above your "tits" while you are standing in your Yee Gee Kei Meama stance (high horse stance)..."

Its paraphrased. And like a mature adult, I giggled when I read "tits".

Peace!

Do your Siu Nim Tao. There are all your measures for the arms.

The upper arms should point at your collarbone when in the goat riding stance.

Joy,
You say:
"too high".
Maybe in your version of WCK.

Rene,
You say:
>>Do your Siu Nim Tao.
There are all your measures for the arms. <<

....I agree with your statement. You need to train how to protect your head. I have had three different Sifus teach me that.
