choy lay fut ++++ the dynamic art of fighting

i got the mayor chinese names of the techniques of the " dynamic art of fighting " choy lay fut book , but still i don't get all .

1 - flat fist strike ( cheong ahn choy )
2 _ forward strike ( yeung chop choy )
3 - whirling strike ( yum chop choy )
4 _ straight fist ( gwa choy )
5 - cross fist ( GWA CHOY AGAIN ??? )
6 - incurve swing strike ( ?????? )
7 - cross fist ( sow choy )
8 - upward strike ( fahn jong choy )
9 - back upward strike ( ?????? )
10 - smash strike ( cup choy )
11 - split strike ( chin si choy )
12 - vertical palm ( fu jao )
13 - straight palm ( cum jerng )
14 - double palm strike ( ??? )
15 - upward palm ( pow jerng )

i need the points 5 , 6 , 9 , 14 .

The book I have, straight fist and cross fist strike both look like gwa choy...it seems like straight fist doesn't follow thru like cross fist from the pics.

Incurve swing strike and cross swing strike sure looks like sao choy! It looks like incurve might be for shorter range? and Cross swing looks like more waist twist and swing, and therefore has both the upward and downard application of the sao? Just guesses.

Back upward strike looks like pow choy to me.

The double palm strike in the book looks like Kong Jerng. (i was fooled- the title by itself, i was guessing seung twei jerng, but then i looked at the book).

Just my guesses, Rain. CLFNole/Fu-Pow/Sow Choy can give you the more decisive answers.

4) Straight fist es Gwa Choy

5) Cross Fist es Gwa Choy + un poquito extra

Inward curving strike= ?????

Aparece de "sow choy" pero de un angulo mas alto. No te importa de esta tecnica. No mire esto tecnica antes del libro.

8) Front Upward Strike es Gwa Choy. Las fotos no estan claro, pero Front Upward Strike es un Gwa Choy hacia arriba.

9) Back Upwad Strike es Faan Jong.

Se usa en un esto combinacion "Gwa Choy Arriba, Faan Jong."

Lo siento por el espanol muy horrible pero necesito practicar.

how do you folks differentiate pow choy and jong? i was taught that jong is more of a straight upward power shot (going down to up), while pow choy was more of a swing upwards that started from behind your body.

do you define it the same way?

very good fu pow !!!! i don't know about you spanish .
learn spanish is more difficult that learn english because the articles and for the female or male words . english is more mechanic . if one day you wanna chat in spanish for practise only tell me .
