Hey..do you mean Tai Chi Legacy? That's gonna be in Dallas in July, but I haven't heard anything about A Taste of China being there. I'll probably be there, just to watch, though.

go to www.chinwoo.com for information on the Taiji Legacy event.

The confusion here comes from the fact that usually, Pat Rice holds her Taste of China competition and seminar event in Winchester, Virginia over the 4th of July holiday weekend (as close to it as possible.

Jimmy Wong's event, Taiji Legacy - and it DOES have Taijiquan as well as Traditional and Contemporary divisions for external...and Chinwoo forms. Push hands, sparring, etc... has been held in late May or June in the past.

Last year, the event was pushing the limits of what the Plano Center in Dallas could accomodate. So, Jimmy Wong is moving it to the Arlington Convention Center. I would venture a guess that the July 12-14 dates were the best he could get.

Pat Rice is NOT having the Taste of China event (to my knowledge) this year.

So, this is one of the big events for the US for Chinese styles for the summer.
