Are these books all Yip Man Wing Chun or is there other Wing Chun in them the second book mentions the new techniques of wing chun and has the phoenix eye fist in it ? These book s are called Secret Techniques of Wing Chun by Chao and Weakland .

Yes, Chao, one of the authors, was a student of Ip Man. The second author, Weakland, a student of Chao's.

Details are always subject to debate (e.g., the phoenix eye fist), and no doubt affected by such things as timeframe of study, peer influence, etc.

KT CHao wasa private student of Yip Man and IMO the Chao-Weakland books are good books. Dont be fooled by the lack of jazzed up photography. There are lots of other books that are better printed and marketed but contain junk compared tp Chao.
Chao was/is independently wealthy enough- he didnt do wing chun for commercial purposes. The phoenox eye, the double punch, the dip in biu jee and the some other small things show
that Chao's work is the real McCoy.
