what do you do for a fat lip?

my friends were sparring, kinda wildy, and one of them was punched in the mouth and got a HUGE fat lip (ever seen bubba in forest gump? yeah..). i gave him tylenol and gave him some ice but it's not doing jack, anybody got any tips? (AND I KNOW, WE'RE GOING TO USE MOUTHGUARDS NEXT TIME :)).

hehe, yeah i guess there isn't much else to do. he made me post this b/c his girlfriend is gonna get ****ed at him for screwing his lip up lol, so disregard this now :) thanks tho hehe
