xingyi in ny?

hi there!

i'm looking for a style to complement my current shaolin training, preferably xingyi or another internal art. anybody know of any good schools in nyc? pref. around chinatown, if not that's alright.

Did you see my post on Song Style Xing-I? Master David Chan is teaching in NY and just started a new Xing-I class. I posted all the info below....

I think a guy named John Montalbano also teaches Xingyi in NY. You have to go over the emptyflower.com and ask around. They know the guy there. He stuck me as a guys who is definately not a Chi head type. He does not even like to talk about Chi, but he does use the principles.

my school brother, ETB, didn't post the info in your forum (ETB, please don't mind the redundancy...) because he posted in another forum. however, for some reason, the info didn't come up.

anyway, if you have the time, you should look around for schools. even though people in these forums will give you their opinions of who is good and who isn't, they are still personal opinions and you should trust your own judgement. check out the schools first, see if you like what is being taught and see if you are comfortable with the instructor.
