Ok. here's the deal. My sigung comes to visit us on June, which is awesome, and he'll teach us 4 days on a seminar. We'll practise 6 hours a day, 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the noon. The first three days will be intensive forms training (two man form and weapons form) and the last day will be mostly san sao training, which can be pretty hard.

So do you guys have any good tips how to endure this 4 days in a row without severe soreness, getting ill etc.? I know streching, sleep and good nutrition is good, but I was wondering if you knew better.

Pace yourself. Relax and get a feel for the rhythm of each training session. Have fun. :)

He's right. you need to pace yourself. Otherwise you'll blow all your energy in one day and be in living hell the next three. And we all know that a 4 day seminar with a great teacher is a god send so drink plenty of water before, during and after the sessions. No use in going to a good seminar and passing out.

Oh and pray he(your teacher) be merciful.

Good Luck
