Kung fu guys don't spar, they just do forms.

All wushu is just forms without applications.

tai chi is not good for fighting.

do a fight to the death.

it is true all fights go to the ground with the dead man lying on the ground.

kung fu has a history of fighting up 6 feet or higher on 4 inch poles. you can spike the ground with knives so it'll stab you when you fall and invite all to the fight of their life.

you see chinese lion dancers on these poles today. you can borrow a set from these guys and have it out.

you can set any rules you like, no gauging, biting all the nhb rules for that matter. i say this would be a good challenge to all.

"Your practice isn't the real deadly, killer Tai Chi because you fight in competitons"

nhb tournaments are the ultimate test for all martial arts. Anyone who says its biased is just jeaslous that their ma is not as good as *insert ma here*, which has been much more successful. If your ma hasn't proven itself in nhb, then its just sissy-dancing.

It's all Tai Chi, when a frame of reference isn't supplied (personal or universal truth?)

BJJ is invincible.

Size and Strength don't matter if you're trained in "x."

"We'll just knock you out before we get taken down."

'in the street I'd just do this',

'kicks above the waist don't work, so we don't train against them',

'when they kick, you just step out of the way',

'but you're only on one leg',

'i don't believe this kind of story either, but i really did see him pin him with one finger'

'when you do this, he will do this'

btw, it WON'T work against my bat!!

"Steroids are enough martial art for me."

"6 months with a gracie CD is all I need."

"My style is the end all be all."

"If my Hero is unbeatable, then so am I."

"The more my hero wins the better I get."

"I can take a hit or two."

"NHB can stop bullets."

Everything is Karate- Tae Kwon Do is just kicking Karate etc.
Defense is superior to offense
All you Kung Fu guys learn is how to dance in nifty pajamas
I don't need to know how to fight, I'll just call the cops
If the move doesn't work in the ring, it doesn't work on the street
Jump kicks are worthless, stay on the ground

But the best one:
Guns don't matter

"Even though I've never used it in the ring I know it works because somone told me it does"

"If it looks deadly it probably is"

Defending against a real sudden and savage attack in the street or in a bar will be the same as being in the ring.

They can fix anything at the hospital.

$hitting in a bag taped to your side for life is not so bad after all!...

Working for the dominant position,in preparation for a good submission is faster and safer than a punch to the nose and a kick to the knee.

Friends of an opponent will only be spectators.

A grappler can always wisthand blows to the back of the head or spine...And these things are illegal in the UFC!

A big and tough biker will always tap out and becomes a good friend even if your armbar was not perfect and he was grabbing his gun with his other hand.

A 280pds guy will try to pass your guard instead of punching your face to a pulp...He has to pass your guard,it is written in every BJJ books!

If the guy tears your eye out, do the same!...We all know that grapplers can do that also.

If he is pulling your lower jaw out of it's sockets with his bare hands, chances are it was not tested in the ring.

People ususally say that fights end up being on the ground. Strangely enough, one of the only times I've ever gotten in a fight it got to the ground in under 1 minute (I tell myself that it was due to the slippery, duew-laden grass) and I got seriously pummeled. The fight didn't end on the ground though. When the both of us got up I jabbed him right in the nose and that was it. The other guy gave up. It was quite bizarre since he hit me 25 times to my 1 hitting him. I guess it was a sensitive spot.
