Hello Mr. Ching,

If you are still reading this thread, I too would like to say that was one AWESOME issue!

One question though - could you share the source for the Dragon Style article? Was that (Sifu) Wing Lam representing DS? I was not aware that he practiced the Art - not familiar with his posture either. Is this Northern, or "Siu Lum" Dragon style?

Anyway, keep up the great work!

Cheers - kevin

Kevin: Thanks for the compliments! The issue is still available for anyone who is interested.

Peacemaker is right on, that was a xing yi pose. It was excerpted from a general article on Dragon style that I did for the Animal issue in Oct 99. It was actually placed there by mistake. Sifu Lam is in NO WAY representative of Dragon style. I asked Sifu's wife for some Shaolin pics for the BSL part, but she failed to come through in time. Our graphic artist at the time, who was not a martial arts person, knowing that it was important for Martha and I to get our respective Sifu's pics in there somewhere, made the swap at the last moment. It was an honest mistake and by no means intended to imply that Lam Sifu claimed to be a dragon style master.
