Some US Special Forces Troopers are employing a new tool against their enemies in Afghanastan..... Beowulf.

This is not the warrior of old mind you, but a new toy in the SF bag of goodies. Check this out.......... It is an M-16 converted to a .50 CAL round!! It only holds 7 or 8 rounds, but is supposed to be DEVASTATING at long range (ie across mountain valleys) and even worse close up.

I can't wait till the uppers hit the US market.......

As a convicted mass murderer who specialises in shootings, I really hate buying weapons in the US. I have to fill out all of these tedious forms promising not to kill. Then they make me wait 2 weeks of a monitored probationary period. What about my freedom to bear arms?

I don't know the particular circumstances of fox hunting, (I'm an avid hunter and fisher here in the States, but some hunters really pi$$ me off as well. I'll admit to not getting why the fu(k you hunt something you don't eat or have some other practical use for.)

BUT, it's not ok to just punch someone for it. Again, I don't know the particular circumstances of the instance you referenced, but it's not ok to use physical violence when not threatened. That's what voting is for.

He hit me with a placard/sign thing when I wouldn't let him push past me [I was in a queue] to get to the rally. If he'd have asked nice I would have been OK, but he said something snotty, and when I told him to go around the queue he tried to barge through me with this wooden NFU sign and ended up smacking me with it. Instinct just made me lash out. I'm glad I did it actually. Sounds like a horrible thing to say, but I think that snotty arrogant people deserve to be publicly humiliated. Especially ones that kill things for fun alone.

Are you vegitarian? If not how many cows,chickens,pigs and sheep have died just because you enjoy eating them? Dont tell me its ok to kill if you are going to eat as the way they are slaughterd is terable and needlessly painful. AND we dont need to eat meat so they died for your pleasure its just that some other guy did the killing.

I am not a vegetarian, however my meat-eating selection is specific. All of my meat comes from a local farm, the owners of which I know well.

Not my meat :) In reality the slaughtering of most animals isn't like people make out, but I still am not fond of it. :( It still does not compare to the torture a fox has to endure at the hands of a hunt. I find the process utterly disgusting. I would love to package up a huntsman in a foxsuit and make him run through a field, unleash the dogs and see how he feels.

No it is correct. I know many vegans . Ok they are all thin and pale and only seem to lead tired half lifes but they survive.
