Yeah, you think you're pretty tough. But the fact is, you've been known to shed a tear. Not in pain, or grief, but from sheer sensitivity. Why?

I'm a sucker for male female duets. Not just good ones like "Golden Ring" by George Jones and Tammy Wynnette, "A Fairytale of New York" by Kristy MacColl and the Pogues, or "You're All I Need To Get By" by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, but cheesey ones like "If I Close My Eyes Forever" by Ozzy Osbourne and Lita Ford, "Don't Go Breakin' My Heart" by Elton John and Kiki Dee, and God help me, even "You're the One That I Want" by Olivia Newton John and John Travolta.

So confess, you battle-scarred warriors! Chick flicks, hallmark cards, the end of "Old Yeller" - what makes you cry?

The emotional bits in movies :)
And I have no shame, it doesn't matter what movie it is.
The worst part is, my girlfriend doesn't :) But things like The Hurricane and Forrest Gump... they're the kind of ones that really crack my shell :)

How about " I Fall to pieces" Patsy Cline and Jim Reeves, and "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing" Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrel.

When I hear those tear jerking songs, The Bodyguard, My Heart Will Go On, Hero, etc.

Yep, got a Soft spot.

As for tear-jerking songs depends on who sings or groans them:
Example:
"I Will Always Love You"
Dolly Parton = Good
Whitney Houston = BAAAD

And yep, me and the women have been known to fight over the tissue box at the end of some movies.

Peace.:D

If it's a GOOD movie with a sad part then I might be able to shed some water but it has to be very good, maybe a bit 'heroic' and not cheezy and corny like: (WARNING, following movies are so ****ing stupid that your eyes will burn just reading this listing) Titanic, Pearl Harbor, 10 reasons to hate you, Notting Hill

Music is a powerful tool of the human soul

I've never actually cried at a film, but the saddest part of a film in my opinion is in Saving Private Ryan just after the D-day landing when they are writing all the letters informing the dead soldiers families of their untimely demise.

Yeah, reminds me of **** jerkin movies I live to watch.

Seiroulsly, roots usually does it for me, or some holocost movie like "Sunshine"

*The bit in the Shawshank Redemption where Brooks tops himself.

*The whole of Regeneration.

*30 seconds after the Matrix Kung Fu scene, when I realise that I can't actually do that stuff.

*Any Atomic Kitten. I hear the tripe, think of all the really good bands that will never make it due to the over-commercialisation of the sodding record industry and I breakdown. Really.

i got a little misty eyed and almost shed a tear during one of the last scenes of Braveheart but i caught myself. Remember the scene where he yells 'freedom' on the torture table.

"FREEEEEEEEDOOOOOMMM"

Yea thats the one. *sniff* *sniff* Give me a mintue. I'll be OK.......

oh yes braveheart was beautiful. i cried when his wife's head got chopped off, then when he saw her on the torture table right before he died.
hey pearl harbour was great! was a bit miffed she ended up with ben affleck's character though. cried when his best buddy died in his arms.
try listening to coldplay when you're feeling a bit down. :( enough to make you weep like a baby.
