Have anyone wondered why the Bak Mae, Bak Fu Pai, Lung Ying, Nam Tong Long, Emei Mountain's Black Tiger all these systems look so simular to each other? The only difference in forms are left or right hand as leading hand, right or left foot as leading foot, all these system sink their body as they strike, all use the explosive advances and all these systems ( except Bak Fu Pai ) were inherited by Hak Gar people?
Did the ancient Monks copy each other's forms and their names and their principles? or did these systems evolved from the 1500's and 1600's and changed during the way? or did these people like Cheung Lai Chin, Lum Yew Kwai, etc. exchanged forms during the 20's and 40's? I really doublt it, because these masters would want to keep their systems authentic and the way it was taught to them by these Monks. Or was there people like this Jim Lacy Character in the past that managed to con a shifu into writing him a few honorary certificates, know nothing about the system, and BS their way by making people belived in a illusion? but what if it is true that all the above systems were so simular because all these systems were designed for close in fighting and there is only so many different close in fighting techniques and there is only so many version of a name for a form . so since these monks were religious people they will use Chinese religious names for their forms and techniques, so since from Temple to Temple all the monks learn from one scripture their thinking is almost the same, thus making the forms and techiques so simluar.

Emei Style has a classification known as
Ke Jia Quan (Guest Fighting division [not KeJia as in guest family ie different character for the Jia])
Wthin here are styles/forms from many different areas specifically from styles originating in GuangXi,GuangDong, Shaolin, HeBei, HeNan, Fujian etc....
This includes many many styles & forms (over 100) - there is a white tiger & black tiger though their origins are from whence they came and should be no different.
In addition there are popularly name forms in this classification such as : Xiao/Da Hong Quan, Meng Hu Chu Lin, Qing She Du Xin, Jiu Bu Quan, San Men Chui, Yan Qing Quan, Shi Ba lohan Quan, Wu Hu Xia Su Zhou etc.....

Essentially as emei absorbed from everywhere the point is the styles could have come from anywhere and at anytime, very little is usually known as to their date of incorporation into the Emei System.
