Or anybody else that knows their s h i t.

I've been going to the gym for about 18 months now and over that time I've picked up bits and bobs about what exercises work, what doesn't etc etc. What I would like is to get a book or two that will give be the principles of training for strength and flexibility.

I hear a lot on here about Pavel, but he seems to have written a lot of different books - can anyone recommend me one or two either by him or someone else. What I am hoping is to use devise more of a set routine which I can follow because at the moment I tend to do a bit of one thing and another until I feel whacked.

Highly reccomend, 'Stretching Scientifically' by Thomas Kurz.

Someone just nicked my third copy.

If you can get your head round the biology lessons, the theory is sound, and it really works too.

Good Luck

Power to the people, and also "relax into stretch" both by Pavel. I've heard that his stretching book is better than Kurz's but don't have Kurz's. www.dragondoor.com
