The seminar was hosted by Sifu Alan Lee at his school in Flushing, NY. It was awesome-to say the least. Totally practical, drills from hell. It was hands on from the word go, and we sweated like pigs for two days-some did not return for the second day, some with injuries came back anyway-just to sit and take notes and absorb. Some with injuries came back and trained some more!(if it hurts, hurt it back!) Si-Bak Duncan fielded questions from students during the brief time we rested after lunch, and He and Sifu Lee hovered around the floor always there helping, giving pointers, and always there to give you hands on corrections-ouch! Senior students were always helpful and friendly-all in all, it was a great seminar.

What were the topics? What were some of the key points?

VERY good question Mr. Yuanfen.

Basically, we did lots of hands on drills dealing with kicks, some kewl lop-sao drills, and jab defenses. Si-Bok Duncan started off with a base move, and built on it as our skill progressed. Variations off the core move, rather than throwing a multitude of techniques at us, that we would never retain.
