I'm a researcher. As such, asking questions and seeking the input, information and views of others is important.

My former instructor on Okinawa stated that a great deal of his art and teachings was connected to Mount Butozan/Butosan (Wudangshan in Chinese)in China and the right wing of the temple.

What if anything can those of you out there share with me concerning the Wudangshan (Martial - Deserving) in Hubei Province?

The main forms (kata) that he stated was connected to the Butozan tradition are internal training forms.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Regards, :)

Which wing of which temple? I spent a few months in Wudang.
The question i have is why the extrreme popularity of the katana and the tanto in wudang? A japanese connection or mutual influence occured a long time ago, But few today could answer any questions. But if you have precise questions i will use them in my next visit there, which is not too far from me.
No, sorry, the only thing the monks say about zhang san feng is that they didn't see him. Nor does anyone remember seeing Zheng Wu.
