The family martial arts tradition of Kojo-Ryu, Okinawa uses twelve (12) postures arising from Chinese Martial Arts. These 12 postures symbolize selected characteristics of the the Chinese Zodiac and animals contained within.

The 12 postures are:

* Seishin Kamae (Nezumi - Rat)
* Fudou Kamae (Ushi - Ox)
* Jinpu Kamae (Tora - Tiger)
* Jumonji Kamae (Usagi - Rabbit)
* Unryuu Kamae (Tatsu - Dragon)
* Aiki Kamae (Hebi - Snake)
* Seigan Kamae (Uma - Horse)
* Dougan Kamae (Hitsuji - Ram/Sheep)
* Tenchi Kamae (Saru - Monkey)
* Fukioroshi Kamae also known as Tsuru Hou (Rooster & or Crane)
* Chi Seigan Kamae (Inu - Dog)
* Ichimonji Kamae (Inoshishi - Boar/Pig)

What other Chinese Martial arts traditions utilize these postures? Does a Chinese Martial Art exist that uses the same 12 postures?

Looking forward to your replies. :)
