Out of curiosity, is the size of our biceps to demonstrate anything special?

Well, I'm pretty sure everyone has two biceps on each arm. Also, length and height would be hard to measure. And then you'd have one measurement for flexed, one for relaxed, etc.

And it would be especially hard to measure your biceps without getting the triceps in the measurement as well. Unless, of course, you cut into the arm, but that can get messy.

SevenStar was close, but the real, and OBVIOUS answer is that the bigger your biceps, the stronger you are. Duh guys :p

As for the size of my biceps, let's leave it at this: they're not big by bodybuilder standards, but I can do one armed pullups so they're big enough to be functional I guess. :)

as are the legs. I don't need 234234023834 bicep exercises for a good uppercut :)

Yes Ironfist...all other things being equal, the strength of a muscle is directly related to the cross-sectional area.

Happy now ;)

This is a spin-off from another post where he recommends doing about 8 biceps exercises and the bench press.

Here is a similar question. What is the maximum amount you can curl, say.... 5 times each arm with dumbells?

It's funny how many people rely on the size of the bicep. Not to say that dragontounge2 is like that:D

My max bench is 282 - I attribute it all to my biceps.

My max squat in college was 450.

I attribute it all to my biceps as well :)

Can I work in with u in the squat rack? I need to do curls do make my guns hyooge! In between your sets you can take off all the 45's and lower the bar and I can put a bunch of 5's on each side and do cheat curls! Don't worry, I'm only doing 20 sets!!!

Hey, while you two are doing squats and curls in the squat rack, can I join you two for my set of shrugs?

this is kung fu training and health, true! But do you have the Martial ability to back up your "big guns"? Seems like alot of weight trainer`s to me! You can lift all the weights in the world...but...can you fight? Give details muscle-heads! Yah...

Mine is probably smaller than your forearm. At 5'5" and 130 lbs, I have to rely on the little tiny sharp weapons, like knuckles and elbows. I measured around the widest part of my arm, and it's smaller than my neck. That's all I'm saying.

hehe, you guys should see the tough guy meat head football players in my school! no offense to you non-a$shole football players, but some of them just take it too far. some of these guys have the mentality of a bully in elementary school, picking on younger kids and whatnot. they go around with these muscle shirts thinking they're the shiz and ACTUALLY RUN INTO YOUNGER KIDS WITH THEIR SHOULDERS, KIDS THEY DON'T EVEN FRIGGIN KNOW. "BLARGH I'M A TOUGH GUY LET'S GO PICK ON THE NERDS I HAVE BIG MUSCLE I CAN BEAT PEOPLE UP". they need to be taught a lesson! one of these days, i'm telling you, they're going to be ninja'd like nobody's business.
