Cancer effects us all in one way or another. Good luck and get 35 million opinions!

kfboy .. . havent heard much yet, just got diagnosed yesterday. i go meet the doctor that will stage it monday.

it's hodgekins so i should be fine. if not that's ok too. i'm not afraid of dying (at times i look forward to it), but i have to fight it to the best of my ability for my little girl. da mn kids . .. if it weren't for her i'd have probably just used this as easy out.

Man, now I'm crying. Be a thorn in the buttocks of society. Don't go easy into the night. This is THE fight.

GDA-Hey dude, I understand completely. This will be especially difficult for your ah, normally less than cheerful disposition:p , but being positive mentally really will help you oodles. Keep us informed as to what's going on. You can beat this. I wish you the best of luck, and you have my support.

that sux :(. good that you have a positive attitude, or a negative attitude, or whatever the hell kind of an attitude that is!

your attitude reminds me of my cousin who is now in 'fairly safe' remission after hardcore leukaemia (don't know the technical terms!) last year.

get it done and get over it dude.

and at least you might have to get your **** hair cut for some of the treatment!;) :D

Is it in a certain area, or throughout the lymph system?
Hope your knackers are ok.

my knackers have never been ok dude. i am master of the rotting orbz style.

i have no idea if it's local or all over the place . .. gotta get it staged first.

i do have a pretty positive attitude though. i don't think it will kill me. i just wonder what other types of cancer i have to look forward to later in life. the funny thing is that a movie i watched recently helped more than anything. it was that sam i am movie. i really like retards, so i thought it would be funny more than anything, but it really nailed down my priorities concerning all this.

Actually I have an irritated nutsack, it's nothing serious but I thought you might get a kick out of that.

Unfortunately your mullet will most likely fall out .
But I'm confident you'll beat this thing.
Keep your chin up.

Now you will have legitimate reasoning to join the "medical marijuana" movement.

No really, that sucks bro. But do seek as many opinions as possible. A few years back I had extremely bad headaches. I went to the doctor, then a specialist, then a headache clinic. I had blood tests, **** tests, spinal tap, swallowed almost every pharmaceutical known to man (Stadol was the best. Those who have had it know what I mean). They couldn't find jack. Then I went to an Accupuncture place. It took the petit, wonderful chinese lady 10(TEN) seconds of feeling around my jaws to find the problem. It was TMJ...a jaw disorder.

Now, I don't advocate chinese medicine over western medicine, I just advise others to get as many opinions as possible.

Good luck bro.

GDA; sorry to hear about that dude.

You have a VERY good chance of beating it though and fully recovering.

One of my best friends had Hodgkins Lymphoma cancer, the doctors didnt catch it until an advanced stage, he was really sick, went through extensive chemotherapy, but he got good doctors and they totally cured it. It was hard on him and his family & friends for awhile and really scary, but he totally recovered from it (its been about 7 years since) and now he's 100% healthy and pretty much forgotten about it, back to normal life.

If you ever want to ask my friend about it, shoot me and email and i'll give you his email address.

Good luck with it, get healthy. Probably a good time to practice some qigung exercises.

I have no helpful medical advice, and I am about the worst person in the world on conveying my sympathies, but I will tell you that there's an old lady on my block who's just begging for it. It's the way she dresses, those teases in their red and purple flower print pant suits and their big old people cars, and the way they always say "Thank you, Deary." Just begging for it. You want pics?:D

Nightwish and Dimmu Borgir are also medicinal, if taken at the proper time. :D

Don't worry dude, you'll be fine and still rocking hard for many years to come.

It could be worse. For example, Wen could be sporting an embarrassing quote by you in her sig :D
But seriously, you seem like a guy with a good enough sense of humour to beat it.
