I heard that the historical tale of Ng Mui and Yim Wing Chun made be just that ... a tale.

If so, can somebody direct me to an alternate version of Wing Chun's history.

May or may not. But it's historically unverifiable, and thus cannot be regarded as fact.

Yes. "Complete Wing Chun" by Rene Ritchie, Robert Chu and Y. Wu. You could also try the Ving Tsun Museum (vtmuseum.org), though not everyone agrees with some of their ideas.

Wing Chun, I invented it. That was after I travelled time. For the future of mankind.

Oh, and I defeated Kublai Khan too.
