If I understand the theories of the CMA (Canadian Martial Arts) correctly, there are four main categories of technique:

Ca Na Da (hand and elbow strikes)
Ca Na Ti (foot and knee strikes)
Ca Na Shuai (takedowns)
Ca Na Na (50's revival doowop singing)
