Just wanted to let people know that I passed my test and got my yellow belt yesterday.

Under Simon Posener in Vancouver, in Pankration, a mix of MuayThai, Karate, and BJJ.

The test was not too hard, I did pretty well (for a relative beginner) in most aspects except my defence during sparring was pis*-poor. I can only concentrate on 1 thing at a time, so when I was trying to hit I was also being hit. Oh well it will improve.

Good job. And look at the bright side: at least you're trying to hit while you're getting hit.

If you would have stayed at TKF you would have a blackbelt by now. Blackbelts are so much cooler than yellowbelts.

...just jerking your chain. Well done and congrats. :)

Yeah maybe but I could never have afforded it.

For a mckwoon or mcdojo or whatever they sure are expensive!

Anyways, I am really into my training. When you just start out I find its easier to be motivated because you can see improvements all the time.
