I live and teach CMA in Oklahoma and I think we're about to get a franchise school from something called Temple Tai Chi here soon. Does anybody know about this school/chain? Are they any good? Should I be looking forward to their coming here or cringing? Just curious.

FWIW I've not heard very good things about it from people in the States. Heard it's very expensive too. Always wary of people who "TM" things. Also, what is "temple" style? Yang? Chen? Wu? Sun?
I thought that Waysun Laio (Clyman's teacher) was a Cheng man Ching stylist?

I wouldn't have commented on this except when I saw this little gem!

From http://www.chikung.com/taichi.html

The Tidal Wave(tm) Chi Kung Program is INCLUDED in the Mind Light(tm) Nei Kung Program. The price is $3,000. Add $30 for shipping out of USA.

How much? No really! Only $3,000 dollars for a video, and he made it up himself too!
I'll have 2 please................

Good God!! you could fly out to China, and live there for six months for that sort of cash!

Honestly do people really buy these?

Chris, if this is the group moving to your area, then you have nothing to worry about.
