Has anyone heard of a shaolin chainwhip and broadsword form? (not a two person set, a chainwhip in left hand, and broadsword in right) It was supposedly invented by a monk during the sung dynasty. 53 postures?

Yes, there is. I don't know the specifics but I saw it on a dvd called " This is Kung Fu" It had a whole bunch of China's wushu champions performing. It is a really good dvd if you can get it. Pretty hard to find

I know there is a wushu form, haven't seen a traditional form with those two weapons. They did a form in the Shaolin Warriors tour with chainwhip and broadsword.

I've only seen the wushu version. The whip is held in the right, the broadsword in the left. It's flashy, but perhaps not as challenging as double whip.
I believe there is an example of it on this video http://store.yahoo.com/martialartsmart/vidshaolkunn.html
