The Ultimate Fighting Championship will air a UFC fight on basic cable television Friday, July 19, on the Fox Sports Network’s Best **** Sports Show Period “All-Star Summer” Celebration. Tito Ortiz (http://www.sherdog.com/fightfinder/displayfighter.cfm?fighterid=158), UFC Light Heavyweight Champ, will appear live on set to discuss the UFC with BDSSP's Tom Arnold, John Salley, Jon Kruk and others. The two-hour show airs nightly at 8:00 p.m. and/or 11:00 p.m. local time on most Fox Sports Net regional sports networks, and at 10:00 p.m. and midnight on FSN Bay Area, Chicago, Florida, New England, New York and Ohio.

On June 25th, Best **** Sports Show Period made history by airing free TV's first Ultimate Fight from the famous Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. Rising Welterweight superstar, Robbie Lawler (6-0-0) of Davenport, Iowa, hit veteran Steve Berger (15-7-3) of St. Louis, Mo., with a wicked right followed by a devastating left at :27 of the second round for a KO to remain undefeated. Lawler has won both of his fights in the UFC. On May 10, he defeated Aaron Riley by unanimous decision in Bossier City, La.

The ratings for the June 25th BDSSP show were considered some of the highest ratings achieved by BDSSP and Fox Sports has requested more action from the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

but I have to admit I am nervous. Fox seems to ruin every sport it touches. Remember the glowing hockey puck? I would hate to see the Rupert Murdoch's of the world become involved in any form of martial art/sport promotion. These are the type of goons that would turn a real fighting sport into wrasslin' if they think it will get them a few more $.

What the hell are you people talkling about? Apparently in the midst of fox's horrendous tv shows, some folks have forgotten about Jillian Barberie, JB, Terri, Howie, Chris and Jimmy Kimmel. I can't stand it when the superbowl is not on fox.
