those two jumps were fun as hell ... the 3 i made yesterday were less than fun though.

Much like all vids posted to KFO, the form was lousy, I doubt those guys could last three minutes against a trained aikido practitioner, and that guy who looked like a cross between Manson and a carney jumped like a total chick.:D

In June 1999, a private pipeline running through the middle of my city started leaking into the creek it paralleled. a couple of kids were playing with matches or fireworks at the same time. Their flame was the spark for the fuel, and their burns were so bad that they didn't survive the day. One of them spent the rest of his living hours apologizing to his dad for playing with matches. One other person died -- an 18-year-old who was fishing in the creek.

Oddly enough, I was supposed to be at the creek, too, about a quarter mile upstream from the leak where there's a few spots to cliff jump, but one of my friends was late picking up my extra college graduation ticket, so I was on the way to the creek when I saw the flames shoot many hundreds of feet in the air. Not rise, mind you. Shoot.

Was not a happy day for this city. I drive by the burned trees every day on the way home from class. :mad:
