I don't remember the whole story but Jason Walls is the current or former(not sure) Hook 'n Shoot (midwestern MMA fight org) Lightweight Champion and champion of some grappling tournaments.
MMA record according to Sherdog.com:

Well, earlier this year he missed his ride or flight to a fight or tournament... i don't remember the whole story. He ended up competing in an AKJU tournament in Columbus, Ohio.
AKJU stands for "American Karate - JiuJitsu Union". I have no idea how good this organisation is or what but he ended up winning the light and open weight grappling and randori (free fight) divisions. It seems mainly with grappling.
Anyways, its an entertaining video. I thought at first it was the national tournament but that isn't till August 3rd. Hopefully he'll follow up and win that too. I'm going to try and find out if he plans on competing.
