Here is a prime example of Lacy's manipulative behavior and threatening people who question him. It's always "What about me?"..... Notice that all header and message info is intact.
This is another letter that was sent to a once "general" of Lacy, Robert Gary.
It should also be noted that his references to the JOINT (prison), MENTAL HOSPITAL (you understand....), the STREETS (drugs and theft), etc. etc. etc. Also wanting to be RE-INSTATED (This means he ADMITS and UNDERSTANDS that he was expelled from BAK FU PAI)!!! These are ALL admissions BY Jim Lacy, Grandmaster Extrodinaire!!

I have no problem with you receiving a gift as long as he tells you what is
in it for me. If he takes down the badmouthing of me and instead says that
we have worked things out, then fine. If not, if there is nothing in it for
me, then why should you accept a "gift" from Wai. Does the gift have strings
attached? If you can get him to forgive, forget and start over by giving us
his blessing on his site, then fine. If he wants to hold grudges against me
and at the same time try and befriend my students so that he can recruit
them against me, then yes I have a problem with you receiving the tape. Wai hates americans and will use you against me, he told me in a hate mail you were an idiot.
He needs to know that I wish him no ill also and that I will honor our
agreements if he will reinstate us as the 18 Daoist Palms division. If that
is to much to ask, then I see no reason to accept
gifts of any kind. It would be an insult to me for you to accept it,
especially since you know how they have tried to destroy 18 Daoist Palms.
With him accepting my offer to get along, the entire association will
benefit, even the new Grandmasters. On the other hand if he does not, then
I assume there was no real sincerity ever and we should isolate ourselves
from their group totally. If you accept the "gift" then you will be out of my association
and I mean that !
I am willing to forgive and forget like Jesus. My wife and I are a little speculative and cautious. After all, Mike
Newman, Kevin Rones, Larry Wilkin, Max Gerber, Russ Jose, Dan LaRoche, Bob
Erhart, Rich Robson and many others, were first students of mine before Doo
Wai. If I am so insignificant, why did these people including you and my
1000 people, come to me first? I have been made out to be the bad guy, when
in reality I have more time in the martial arts than all the names I
mentioned. Only I was able to study full time since 1973. Only I was a
legitimate black belt before studying bak fu pai, except for Robson, but
then again, I was a black belt way before him, and higher ranked at that.
Jim Lacy is made out to be the bad guy all his life. Because I worked hard,
made a name for myself, helped the world further recognize Doo Wai and the
elders, plugged Vince, etc...etc...I am the bad guy. The last time I was at
the Grandmaster's house I gave him $1000 of our hard earned money because
he said he would give me 20 tapes. I never got those tapes. My Lohon spent
$4000 for almost nothing in return. I have not heard from him since. My
wife has had to suffer all of this right alongside me. My name has been
slandered all over the world from the web site of a so-called former
student who like many others have me to thank for even meeting Doo Wai.
Thank God there are some students and folks in high places that will always
be our true friends and supporters.
Here he is offering you a tape for free when he never even gave me anything
for the last $1000 I gave him. I wonder if you have been along with him the whole time, have you been trying to cheat me ! Not one of those former students ever calls
to thank me for their success, instead they stay in the shadows under his
protective wing badmouthing me. It is time I demanded a little respect. If
I can not be forgiven and reinstated, then that tells you everything unless
you are hypnotized by your own free will and blind. If a lohon or student
cannot stick up for me on this issue then they are useless to me and the 18
Daoist Palms System. I am Jim Lacy, the person that just so happened to be
the first person to document the string break. Instead of respect, those
mentioned seem to be jealous and against me. Historians can be the judge.
Jim Lacy's martial art ship is not yet even out of the harbor. I have
always said that I am very capable of charting my own course if need be.

It is obvious that he wants to pull you in under his control. He knows your talents and wants to use them against me, can you see this ? What kind of
respect to me is it to go to my student first instead of me directly? All

the last of the real men who hold honor, valor, courage and faith close to
their heart.
Of course we all want peace. But at what price? I have spoken my terms. You

Parker Linekin and Mike Newman, it was me that fought for them. It was
always me that tried to be the peacemaker. What did I get for it?
I want full reinstallment, all negative talk about me taken off the web
site, and complete sovereignty of my own 18 Daoist Palms System. The choice
is yours Robert. I have spoken my peace.
