Hi All,

I came on here 2-3 months ago to start doing some research into the martial arts community. I wanted to get a feel for what is missing from martial arts in general, so I could write articles and perhaps a book to fill some of those voids.

In the process I have had some good discussions and some other discussions. I have met some interesting people and some other people. Along the way I've made 137...138 posts. Hopefully, at least one of those posts was interesting, entertaining, or helpful to at least one person.

I'm going to take a break from the forum and try to get some work done. I'll check back in a few months and see if the BJJ/MMA vs Kung Fu debate is resolved, if Law of the Fist has renounced TKF, or if Weird Al Colangelo is in jail.

Brent,

We finally resolved the style-vs.-style debate. Everyone agreed and shook hands and agreed never to speak of it again, because the whole thing was just stupid. You should have been here, man. :(

I think it's safe to say the majority of us have enjoyed your extensive posts.

Unfortunately, this is correct...we are all stuck here..FOREVER....
