Hey,

I'll be down there for a few weeks staying at a friends house, any Wing Chun places worth checking out?

Here are a bunch that teach in SF

http://www.c-c-c.org/act/classes.html#kungfu
Yip Man->Lo Man Kam lineage. I believe the instructor, John Kang, visits this forum

http://www.uswingchun.com/
Yip Man->Chris Chan.

Hoover Chan's school. I don't really know his lineage. I believe it's descended from Yip Man though

Garrett Gee of Hung Fa Yi

http://www.wingtsunsfbay.com/classes.html
Wing Tsun of the Leung Ting lineage

Ken Chung use to teach in SF, but we've moved to Cupertino, which is about 50 minutes away.

Probably more than enough to keep you occupied. Enjoy your stay.

As ZL mentioned, there is a Lo Man Kam Wing Chun Branch in the Bay Area. The website, however, is different:

http://www.wingchun-sf.com

You are more than welcome to visit us sometime, though please do let me know in advance at: aelward@hotmail.com

I believe Hoover Chan studied with his Uncle, a student of Yip Man; then later with Patrick Au, a student of Ken Chung; and then directly with Ken Chung himself with private lessons.

I have heard he has excellent rooting and hands.
