In Oz we have the NAS( National All Styles), not sure what they're called overseas but I'm curious as to who has competed in these types of comps and how the fighters fight.
Do most styles revert to something resembling kick boxing or still use their system.
Granted once you put on gloves you're limited with strikes but should still be able to use your systems principles , postures etc.
I've seen videos of Kung fu comps here in Sydney before my time of several different styles. Even though they have gloves on they still used their style to fight with not just kick boxing style.
Anyway I'd like to hear from anyone who has fought in these type. Please no "*****ing " about which style is the best etc , just some constructive replys.
