Hi all,
I've been hunting around for a decent spear for a month or so, but there seems to be a short supply in Oz, and the items I have seen have had dodgy aluminium shafts or brittle, plastic-chrome tips.
Lately I've been considering making my own spear, but I really need to find some specs and construction info. I'm wondering if anyone here might have some advice to share, or could perhaps direct me to a site that describes the appropriate weighting, balance point etc? I imagine I could have a spearhead custom made if I could provide plans, or I could perhaps import a decent head, but I'd might still need some advice about how to attach it safely to the shaft etc.
