That's because if you build a better mouse, the world will beat a path to your door.

LOL!

Very interesting. How reliable a news source is the Philly Enquirer then?

but man any paper with 'Inquirer' in the title sounds suspect to me, but in a related story...

this honey's pops i once dated years ago was(and still is-we keep in touch) in MAD peak physical condition. I'm talkin he is pushin 70 right now and still has 10% body fat, must weigh around 195 lbs, cat is MAD STRONG, fast, fit and lord knows he works at it. He's freakin more muscular than i am. this cat has 41 years on me, and the only thing i could probably do is out-run him. barely. he's a genetic freak of nature. and he's tough as nails to boot.

seriously. no joke!

If so, I'd be up to it so long as there were minimal to none side effects. God, to be able to do Kung Fu like I was 28 again!!!!!!!

If it's only muscle, I can probually do as much with herbs anyway.

How would that affect the internal organs??

I have gout, and it very much nesses up my Kung Fu. If this stuff puts the body in a constant regeneration mode, I bet it would help heal the kidneys too. (Gout is ofen caused by a minor Kidney disfunction).

If this is legit, and there is no goofy side effects (like turing into that Master from Shaolin Do), I would definately do it just to get my health back.

I wouldn't even be concerned about the strength because just being able to do my Kung Fu full throttle again would give me that back.

This will only increase the gap between:

1.) Pro and Amateur athletes further
2.) Sports/Competition MA and the everyday MA

In short if you wanna win in a competitive arena you will have to get your Genes and other things altered.

Sad, but how far will People go for the extra buck, trophy or recognition.

Peace.

They are useing a synthetic virus to reporgram the cells. Suppose they took that technology and used it to reprogrm cancer cells into a bening tissue?

I would like to see how much more the test mice ate.
If this causes the muscle to think it always needs repair isn't your body doing more work and thus you would need to eat more.

RD.

It will most probably come, but much later after the stuff being used to make plenty of bucks.

Or some pharmaceutical Company will just buy the rights and sit on it unless we pay plenty of money for it.

Capitalism at it's best. Screw the poor bugger who needs it the most but can't afford it.

Peace.

Yep. You'll see professional athletes full of it long before you ever see some poor ******* with Muscular Dystrophy getting it.

so long as there is oxygen, there will be aging.

aging can be slowed in a variety of ways that do not use the "pill solution" that so many wish for.

enhance, maybe, maybe yes, but lay the foundation? No. A pill cannot lay the foundations of health and longevity.

Also, tests that use animals are not 100% accurate when transposed to humans. We share some things genetically (how can we not after all, we do all come from the same earth), but nevertheless we are quite different and different substances have different effects across species and even amongst ourselves as humans.

I think that this is a long long way of, this tree of life. Hahaha.

peace

Your right of course.
In fact, a prime example is the herb "Cat Nip" It's a stimulant in cats but a seditive in humans.

The Philadelphia Inquirer is the main newspaper in Philly. There used to be a rag called The Daily News, but I think they folded years ago. That's where you'd read stories like, "I had Sasquatch's Baby." Not in the Inquirer.

A PubMed search of "sweeney hl" brings up a bunch of cutting-edge studies in muscle physiology.

I recommend that we have separate Olympic Games - one for normal amatuer athletes, as it was originally intended, and another, Bionic Olympic Games, for the technologically-enhanced athletes.

That's what we need. An 85 year old strong as Zeus roided out and looking for a piece of ass. This, steroids and Niagra would be a deadly combonation.
