i understand what qi gong is. nei gong is external exercises or 'hard' qi gong (please correct me if i'm wrong on that). and what's wu gong? someone once told me it was translated as 'inside strength' or 'inside force', is that correct as well?

Even though I´m familiar with english names of different types of qi-gong I´m not that familiar with those in chinese.
It´s a complex language (just like you would not know) and probably offers various translations, but how about "martial exercise (gong-chi-gong) ? wu-martial.

Wu Gong is a Shuai Chiao specific term.

Wu is the sound you make when your instructor chooses someone else to demonstrate a new throw (as in Wheew, I'm glad he didn't pick me.)

Gong is for the ringing sound in your head when you hit the floor.

No, that's when you get thrown real hard, hear you're head ringing like a Gong and say "Wai me?"
