Guru Paul Silva is a long time martial arts player with extensive experience in the hawaiin Kenpo /Kajukenbo thing and a full guru in Kuntao Silat under Andre Knustgraichen. He's the Djago of Santa Cruz foir those of you who understand what that means in its positive sense.
Guru Paul is a tremendous martial artist, and a nice guy. He's lived a colorful life where he's had to really live his martial arts training - if you know what I mean.
Tomorrow he goes under the knife for cancer surgery, while still recovering from a very serious motorbike accident.
He's asked those of us that know him to post to our fellow players to keep him in your prayers or mind or whatever it is you do with your spiritual practice, if you have one. It means a lot to him, so here's the post. If you have it in your heart wish him well.
I intend to go to Santa Cruz on Saturday and irritate him while he's helpless in the hospital. He feels your wishes will help him be there.
