I personally believe that we will never really find out for sure. Why? Because for every publication that says that there was, there will be another publication that calls into question the legitimacy of the first one.

For example, in the article it states that X number of scholars were there. Someone will then say that the scholars are not qualified, or that you can't trust anything released by the Chinese, or whatever.

Ultimately, does it really matter?
