This guy deserves mad props in my book. Hes studied under his great instructor and mentor "Abu" and has been in it for over 20 years.Hes even gone as far as not sleeping in bed with his wife but to sleep on the floor of his bedroom because he loves this art so much that sometimes you have to act like a monkey to be really good at this art. Im not kidding!! He also has a bag of peanuts a day with a bunch of bannanas for pottasium so he can also live as a human and a monkey at the sametime "kinda like living 2 lives" in his own words. Voted Blackbelt magazines 1989 Martialartist of the year and won tons of titles at the city zoo as well. When asked why dont you get a real job he said "This is a real job" and rightfully so. Lets give a thumbs up for Mister Zink and because probably noone here would wanna face this in the streets..........

You appear to have spelt your own name incorrectly.

Looking at those pictures makes me think that I´m not sure if even Jim Carrey could pull that stuff off...;)

He is probably legit,I´ve seen his website,I think.
Tai shin pek kwar...if I got this right, reminds me of drunken KF a bit.

You should see his Breakdance Fighting forms. Truly the best.

Isn't he the guy that the Tai shin pek kwar guys are out to get?

mr Zink is an old man,,,so dont lower yourself and beat up an old man for his monkey ways. i used to look at his books on the bookstore back in the 80's and the thought that entered my mind at the time was "douche bag".

Im serious!!
I would not mess with this guy on the streets. He reminds me of that FatBoy slim video with that cult jumping around like monkeys in front of some theater breakdancing and stuff to music.

Scary Sh*t!!

This was posted on Cyberkwoon some time ago in response to a general article on 'Monkey Kung Fu' -- Angry Monkey Boxing... (http://www.cyberkwoon.com/html/article.php?sid=168&mode=thread&order=0)

"It was both very surprising and very disturbing for me to read this otherwise exemplary article and have the author (who obviously invested a lot of time and energy in researching and writing the article) refer to Paulie Zink as "one of the leading authorities of [Tai Shing Pek Kwar]." Anyone who has invested a number of years in the legitimate Chinese Martial Arts knows of Chan Sau Chung, who is the true grandmaster of the style. Chan Sau Chung's family (I am referring to his kungfu family, as his kungfu brothers are all in agreement) refutes Paulie Zink's claim that he learned any legitimate form of Tai Shing Pek Kwar from a legitimate teacher of the style. He has yet to rebuke their statement with any solid proof (in fact, I don't think he has said anything at all). Having studied the Chinese Martial Arts myself for most of my life, I purchased many of Paulie Zink's materials and evaluated them on my own, irregardless of whether or not he is a legitimate student of Tai Shing Pek Kwar; I believe that lineage is less important than effectiveness. Paulie Zink, whatever he was doing, was not doing kungfu. What is worse, what he was doing can only be described by using the word "wrong," a word I hesitate to use in terms of the martial arts in general."

Grandmaster Chan Sau Chung (http://www.taishingpekkwar.com/) and his son Master Chan Kai Leung now live and teach in Richmond, BC.
